Only 30% of the world's population use the Internet

Recent data showed that about 2.1 billion people around the world use the Internet, representing about 30 per cent of the world's population.
According to the latest data collected by the site, "Internet World, and Staats," the new number more than five times the number of people who use the Internet at the end of 2000.
